Gilbert and Sullivan broke new ground as they developed the American Musical. Their influence can be traced through musical history, clear up to and including Hamilton.  In fact, there are lines in Hamilton pulled directly from Gilbert and Sullivan work!

The New York Gilbert & Sullivan Players are coming to town on Saturday, June 2nd  and Off Square Theatre is offering a FREE daytime workshop for people ages 12 and up. The performers and directors will use Gilbert & Sullivan works as a base to explore the many facets of musical theatre.
