AUDITIONS

What to Prepare for your audition:
For Macbeth:   a Shakespearean or Classical Monologue of your     choice (not from Macbeth)
For Man of La Mancha:   16 Bars of a song of your choice (bring your    sheet music)
For OSP (ages 12-18)   2 contrasting Monologues (1-2minutes each) and 16 bars of a song of your choice  (bring your sheet music)

Off Square Theatre is an AEA Guest Artist Theater and hires actors who are members of Actors' Equity Association and non AEA actors, as well. Actors are hired on a show-by-show basis during the season. Off Square Theatre holds open general auditions annually. These auditions are announced on our website, by email and by newspaper. If you are planning to be in Jackson and would like to schedule an audition please send your photo and resume with a cover letter to:

For any general audition, please prepare two contrasting monologues of no more than three minutes in length and provide one 8"x 10" photo and current resume.

The Artistic Staff at Off Square tries to see as many shows as possible in the Jackson area. If you would like us to come and see your work please send an invitation card to Tracy at the address above. We regret that it is impossible for us to see every production.
