Registration is open from 3/7/16 until the camps are full.

Early registration is suggested as they typically fill early. Scholarships are available for all camps.

ALL CAMPS ARE MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 9:00am-3:00pm

STUDENTS MUST BE ENROLLED AND DAILY ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY

 

Improvisation Comedy Camp–June 20-24   FULL

Grades 5-8, $325

Students will explore sketch comedy performing, writing and improvisation. Campers will participate in imaginative games, activities and exercises incorporating movement, speech, dramatic play and literature. This class will instill confidence, encourage the imagination and foster working with others. By the end of the class, students will have explored the fundamentals of comedy & improvisation – culminating in an informal performance of their very own creation!

 

Musical Theatre Camp—June 27-July 1    FULL

Grades 4-8, $325

This fast paced camp will offer students the opportunity to work with Off Square Theatre’s professional actors and Dancer’s Workshop professional dancers to learn and hone important skills necessary for performing in musical theatre: singing, acting, and dancing!  A live student performance will take place on the last day of camp,

 

Thin Air Shakespeare Camp – July 5-16

Led by Thin Air Shakespeare Guest Artists

Grades 7-12, $450

In this two-week camp, students will study all facets of performing and producing Shakespeare’s plays, including creating their own performance that will be part of the pre-show entertainment on July 15 & 16 at the Thin Air Shakespeare performances.

 

Musical Theatre Camp—July 18-22     FULL

Grades 3-6, $325

This fast paced camp will offer serious acting students the opportunity to work with Off Square Theatre’s professional actors and Dancer’s Workshop professional dancers to learn and hone important skills necessary for performing in musical theatre: singing, acting, and dancing!  A live student performance will take place on the last day of camp.

 

Shakespeare’s Heroes and Villains – August 1-5     FULL

Grades 3-6, $325

This exciting, high-energy week long camp is not to be missed!  Students will be introduced to the many heroes and villains in William Shakespeare’s plays!   Students will produce an original performance based on Shakespeare’s Heroes and Villains! A final performance will take place on the last day of camp.

 

Art of Storytelling – August 15-19     FULL

Grades K-2, $325

Calling all kids who want to be more creative in their storytelling!  Using classic nursery rhymes as examples, students will be introduced to the world of theatrical performance. Collectively, they will use their imaginations to create their own tall tale that will be shared with a live audience on the final day of camp!

 

*All youth (2nd grade and up) participating in summer camps will be eligible for the youth musical in February 2017.

 

10% discount available for more than one sign up (i.e. siblings in same camp or students enrolling in multiple camps.
