Off Square Theatre Company presents a wide diversity of work. From comedy and puppet theatre to classical texts, from home-grown productions to new theatre exploring issues of the death penalty and intolerance, this season will inform, amuse and challenge perceptions in ways that stimulate dialogue and meaningful exchange. Founded in 1998, the theatre's diverse productions and classes engage a broad and diverse spectrum of the community and the region. Each season, Off Square produces and presents comedy, drama, a youth musical, puppet theatre, live radio theatre, and more. The theatre's education program, which gives children and adults a chance to hone skills and learn more about the theatre right here in Jackson, includes acting and singing classes, juggling club, theatre camps, directing workshop and Master Classes with world-class teachers. Off Square provides school-time performances for local schools at the theatre, and collaborates with many other community organizations, such as the Teton County Library, C-V Ranch and the Latino Outreach Center.
